Newsflash!
 - Being in a foreign country for a month, where few can speak their language, did not dampen the spirits of teachers from Mauritania during their time in South Africa for training in the Red Star method. This was their first contact with another school for the Deaf. The training was done by the De La Bat School for the Deaf. The three teachers liaised with DeafNET, who arranged for the training, and the teachers paid their own tickets to South Africa. The training took place in the month of August.
